Shawn Hardin is a Commercial Pilot, holding Single-Engine, Multi-Engine, and Instrument ratings, with over 5,000 flight hours in over 50 different aircraft models. He is a Certified Flight Instructor holding Single-Engine(CFI-A), Multi-Engine(MEI), and Instrument (CFI-I) privileges, as well as Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor Certificates (AGI/IGI).
His flying experience includes working in the private and government sectors as a Flight Instructor, Assistant Chief Flight Instructor (parts 61 & 141), 141 Check Airman, Airline Pilot, Forestry Air-Attack Pilot, King Air 90 Charter Pilot, and Ferry Pilot for private aircraft owners. He has also provided consulting services to aviation organizations and businesses nationwide on a variety of aviation projects.
Prior to beginning his aviation career, he served eight years in the United States Marine Corps (1996-2004;) and was a full-time Firefighter/EMT for three years.
